The Maverick School as an institution concentrates on giving children the best education at their formative years and have been successful in blending Montessori Methods and the British Early Years Framework for our preschool Curricular and British National Curriculum for our Primary School.

The Maverick School is presently a single form entry school with classes ranging from creche to year 3.
Children are taught in mixed ability classes. We identify the type of learners are children are and tailor lessons to suit them accordingly to ensure they thrive. Children’s progress is carefully monitored, and lessons tailored accordingly to offering group and one-on-one lessons successfully.
When you walk into our school you will wonder why all the walls are white and there is not a lot happening on our walls. This is deliberate of our Montessori space as we do not want to overstimulate the children’s senses with bright coloured walls and a variety of wall art and posts. The learning materials are what you will find to be the colourful as they are they focus for the child. The learning materials being colourful draw the children in and ensure a level of identification and focus on their part.

Academic standards cannot be compromised and further challenging them to be critical thinkers and problem solvers- skills they would have foundationally developed in preschool. This curriculum is globally recognised and gives students the opportunity to easily integrate into any setting should they choose to relocate or study abroad.
We will offer the CPC examination in year 6 (Cambridge Primary Checkpoint)
Each year during the long vacation we run a summer programme for Maverick School Students and children from outside our walls. All are indeed welcome to explore and make new friends during the summer programme.
Children engage in stimulating activities that are of academic standing in fun ways from STEM activities, baking, cooking, Karaoke, arts and crafts and an array of concentration, fine and gross motor activities both indoors and outdoors. Children thus enhance their creative and social skills.
